We saw some great movies this last week. If you'd like to know what we thought, click on the links below to read the full reviews.

We started off the week with "The Water Horse," a fanciful movie that investigates the legend of the Loch Ness monster and suggests one possible way it came to be in existence. We go back in time to World War II and see a young boy named Angus find a strange stone by the loch-a stone which turns out to be the egg of the mythical water horse. He cares for the creature until it grows too large to be kept inside, and he releases it into the Loch. This movie contains some scenes of peril and might not be suitable for sensitive children.

Dale Harcombe joined us again for her review of "The Bucket List," the story of two men who are both told they are going to die. They make lists of things they want to do before they kick the bucket, and as they go about crossing items off their lists, they form an unexpected friendship.

"27 Dresses" is a cute chick flick about a girl named Jane who has been a bridesmaid twenty-seven times and can't seem to let go of the memorabilia from those weddings. A whole closet in her house is devoted to housing those bridesmaid dresses. When her sister comes to town and gets engaged to the man Jane is secretly in love with, Jane's ideas of true love are changed somewhat, but she still believes in marriage, with all her heart.

We ended the week with "Shall We Dance," another Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers classic film that combines incredible dancing, timeless music, and a comical plot as ballet-dancing Fred tries his best to win jazz-dancing Ginger's heart, only succeeding in the eyes of the media, who decides that the two are secretly married. Only by getting married in real life and then filing for a divorce are they able to convince the journalists of the truth.

We hope you enjoyed this look back at the week, and that you'll find a movie you'll really enjoy on your next trip to the rental store.
