Jason Nesmith (Tim Allen) is an over-the-hill actor whose glory days came while starring as the captain of a starship on an old TV show. When I reviewed John Grisham’s novel “Skipping Christmas” last year, I read some critical reviews of the movie “Christmas with the Kranks,” based on Grisham’s book. The critics seemed to think the movie was terrible, but I wanted to give it a shot for myself. You know what – I really liked it.
