I’ll Be Home for Christmas (1998)

I watched “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” on the recommendation of a friend, and I really enjoyed it. The only way I could get my hands on it was to buy a used copy at Blockbuster, and I’m glad I forked over the money. It’s a keeper. Jonathan Taylor Thomas plays Jake Wilkinson, a college freshman who hasn’t spent Christmas at home since his mom died. Christmas in Connecticut (1945)

In the classic movie “Christmas in Connecticut,” Barbara Stanwyck plays Elizabeth Lane, a famous columnist who writes about food, decorating, and being the perfect hostess. There’s just one problem – she’s none of those things. She gets her recipes from her Uncle Felix, who owns his own restaurant, and she takes her descriptions of her home from a cottage in Connecticut she visits on occasion. Week in Review: December 17th – 22nd

We’ve had a lot of fun concentrating on Christmas here in Movie Reviews this week. Let’s take a look at all the goodies we found.
